DECEMBER 2007

Dear Christian Friends,

First, let me say that I trust you had a good Thanksgiving and pray your Christmas will be the best yet.

Bro Albert and I made it back from Haiti and what a trip! In the eleven years I have been going, this was the hardest. After Bro Albert and I got to Haiti, we flew Haiti Air north for a forty-minute trip - what a ride in that small plane - as we got to Port de Paix, the people moved off the dirt road so we could land.

We were picked up and went to the motel which only had power from 6:00pm til 6:00am. The roads to the church were the worse I’ve been on in Haiti. The first church we preached at we had to cross a river; the water was under the doors of the car. It rained everyday; so, by Wednesday when we were returning from the church the water so high that the people volunteered to carry us across on their backs so we could get back to the motel.

The second church we preached at was twp miles up a dirt road in the mountains. The first night going there the rain was so bad that the four-wheel drive vehicle took us back down the mountain sideways. The second night the road was not drivable and we had to walk the two miles down the mountain in the mud and rain. However, despite the weather, we had many saved and many rededications and passed out 1000 tracts. It was a trip we will not forget.

The first church is the place we will go back to at the end of June 2008 for camp. They said we would run 1200-1500 kids. At night we would hold revival services. If we are to do this, we need help to feed the kids. As a Pastor, I am not able to travel as Dr Boyd did to raise up the money. I do feel we can reach a lot of people at this place. It will cost about $5 to feed a child at the camp. This church already has a school of 500 because that is all they can hold. Many more kids would come plus they said many adults would attend.

Thank you for all your prayers and support. If you could help the kids at $5 per child we can have a great camp.

Thanks again, for without your help I could not go and keep Bread of Life Broadcast going.
